Kefa is the team leader and principal consultant at CAL and is responsible for the overall review of proposals and quality assurance. He leverages his extensive experience in credit management, Risk Management as well as Financial Advisory to review client propositions and make informed decisions.

Kefa brings on board experience in Banking having worked as Risk Analyst, Head of Collections/Recovery and Head of Credit. He founded Centerprise Africa in 2007 through which he had undertaken various engagements across Africa.

Kefa has over the years developed a reputation in the region for taking on challenging engagements and facilitating resolution to the client’s satisfaction. Some of the key engagements include developing a concept paper and facilitating African stakeholders’ conference in Dar es Salaam on the state of Trade Finance in Africa; carrying out a feasibility study, business modelling, business plan and product development for the Development Bank of Rwanda to finance Higher Education; developing the concept paper, feasibility study and business plan for the Government of Rwanda to set up a unique cultural village to market the country to the rest of the World, development of a business plan and financial modelling for an Agri-only non-Bank financial institution in the region; setting up from scratch of a tech-enabled receivables financing marketplace that facilitates access to working capital for SMEs; among others.

Kefa holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Kenyatta University, a Diploma in Risk Management in Finance and Banking, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London.
